Sup from a human skull: Alcoholic Architecture launches rite of passage drinking ritual for Halloween. Drinkers will be able to partake in a millennia-old custom of drinking from a human skull at Bompas & Parr's bar in Borough Market as part of a specially created Halloween drinking ritual. The Skull Punch is drunk from a real human skull (obtained through a reputable antiques dealer) and will see drinkers remove the top of the crown to get at the liquid within. Inside, they'll find a haunting concoction of Trappist ale, rare monastic gentian liqueur and Buckfast combined with ‘skull lychen'. Guests can take their skull punch into Alcoholic Architecture's signature feature – a walk-in cloud of breathable gin and tonic – for a photo moment. The installation is the world's first alcoholic weather system for your tongue where meteorology and mixology collide with the monastic tenets of the bar. From 19 -31 October 1 Cathedral Street, Borough Market, SE1 9DE Tickets are priced at £10 before 5pm and £12.50 at peak times.
