One of our favourite Ramen joints, Tonkotsu, brings its delicious noodle soups and Japanese snacks to Bankside.

They'll be serving the usual classics - tonkontsu ramen, gyoza and chicken kara-age alongside a few new dishes exclusive to this restaurant, including: Mazesoba - Thick noodles, intense broth, chili pork mince, pork belly and a raw egg to be stirred in; and Clam Sakamushi - Clams and Shimeji mushrooms blanched in sake.

Apparently thousands of years ago the Aztecs worshipped a God of fermentation and a Goddess of alcohol. These two deities got it on and the results of this union were no fewer than Four Hundred Rabbits! Fast forward to the present day and without alcohol and fermentation we wouldn't have beer or pizza, hence the name!
