The Gilbert Scott Restaurant at St Pancras has teamed up with Moet et Chandon champagne to create another luxurious summer pop-up terrace.

St Pancras may be London's gateway to Paris, but if you haven't got time to pop across the pond, Moet et Chandon have created a secret Provencal garden on the terrace of the Gilbert Scott so you can enjoy a slice of la vie en Rose in the Big Smoke. Designed by landscape gardener Anna Murphy, the terrace features climbing plants, beautiful blooms and summery white wrought-iron furniture. Despite being smack-bang in the middle of Kings Cross, it manages to feel calm and secluded too. Moet Ice Champagne and elaborate floral cocktails dominate the menu - we particularly loved the Peach Negroni, Bee Keeper and the Hibiscus Cauprirnha. The smoking cocktail was also a bit hit, arriving in it's own brass container! If you get peckish, summer salads, sandwiches and bar snacks are available. The fish bites and paprika chips with taramasalata were particularly good if you're looking for something small. The Gilbert Scott's Afternoon Tea is also available on the terrace, as are their famous Kendall Mint choc ices. With Autumn fast approaching, make sure you get down there now - the terrace closes at the end of summer! Opening hours: 11am-11pm Monday-Thursday; 11am - 12pm Friday and Saturday
