Designer Tea on The Summer Terrace 5

NW5's favourite baker Bunny Little's has teamed up with The Gilbert Scott to create a very stylish 'Designer Afternoon Tea', exclusively for London Fashion Week.

The bakery's motto is 'Food is my Fashion', and owner and former fashion stylist Katy Taylor is certainly living up to this with her latest venture, a pop-up afternoon tea at The Gilbert Scott in St Pancras. While the fashion world may not be known for their love of sugary treats, the catwalk-inspired options on offer are pretty irresistable, and include:
  • Pink Strawberry and Basil Meringues (to channel the classic ballerina trend, ofcourse)
  • 'Passion for Fashion' Passion Fruit and Ginger Marshmallows (vibrant, like the Dior AW14 shows)
  • Parmesan and Thyme Popcorn (low in calories for those trying to squeeze into sample sizes)
  • Pastrami, Gherkin, and Mustard Sandwich on Rye  (classic and simple, like Louis Vuittons latest collection)
  • A 'Best of British' Poached Salmon, Cucumber and Dill Sandwich (to honour the local girls on the runway)
  • Retro 1960s-style Apple and Sage Sausage Rolls (harking back to 1960s chic)
Designer Tea Detail 2 The Gilbert Scott's Bar Manager Dav Eames has also created a 'Fashion Bunny' cocktail to go with the tea, which combines earl grey infused vodka with lemon, pink grapefruit juice and peach syrup. Like Fashion Week, this pop-up is short and sweet - it closes on September 21st. If you can't make it in time, check out our Interview with Katy Taylor from Bunny Little's, and visit the shop instead.
