Bijoux Afternoon Tea at the Langham Hotel

From May 15^th – July 6^th. A recent Monday afternoon found us eagerly dressing up for the launch of Bijoux Afternoon Tea at the beautiful Langham Hotel in Portland Place, famed for being the birthplace of the afternoon tea tradition.  Inspired by the English summer events of Wimbledon, Chelsea Flower Show and Royal Ascot, the Langham's own Queen of Pastry Cherish Finden devised a selection of incredible cakes which we greedily devoured, along with copious amounts of Laurent-Perrier champagne. Our particular favourites included the Valhrhona Chocolate Tart with its tiny tennis racquets, and the genius Sake Bloody Mary Macaroon. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better cake in London – we're still dreaming of them now.
