Put your car keys down, this isn't THAT sort of event...instead, the team behind Winterwell Festival are transforming a warehouse in East London into a crazy golf course, complete with 1920s-style clubhouse bar and your favourite street food vendors!
The days of golf being associated with old men and diamond-patterned sweatshirts are over, thanks to the arrival of Swingers Crazy Golf. Housed in a 7000 square ft warehouse in Shoreditch, this is the ultimate place to 'socialise competitively' on the 9-hole crazy golf course, while boozing Bagger Vance-style and gorging on
Patty & Bun burgers and
Pizza Pilgrims pizza.
Details of the course have been shrouded in secrecy, but we've heard rumours of water features and a 10th hole where you can win a £100 bar tab for the clubhouse bar. Guest vendors
Hix Fishdogs,
When Mac Met Cheese and
Butchies are also set to make an appearance during the 3 month period to help fuel flagging golfers. Plus, there's even a dancefloor in the clubhouse if you want to bust out some victory moves after a successful match.
We're not the only ones excited about crazy golf though - the pop-up opens on
September 25th until December, and bookings for the
£10 per person golf rounds are already filling fast. Ground passes are also on sale for
£3 if you'd rather not channel your inner Tiger Woods. See you at tee-off!
