A sister to the Made in Brasil 'beach shack' restaurant in the heart of Camden, Made in Brazil Boteco specializes in Cachacaria and Petiscaria. That's Brazilian cocktails and street food to you and me. Brazil's national cocktail, the Caipirinha, is on offer in many guises, from the classic - made with Cachaca (that's the country's most famous spirit made from sugarcane) with sugar and muddled lime over crushed ice - to many exotic fruit-infused Caipirinhas including lychee, passionfruit and acai. We can totally recommend the Mazzaropi (with extract of guarana, if you please) and the Floripi Martini - wonderfully refreshing at the end of a meal. The selection of petiscos is most alluring, from traditional Bahian street food to creamed pumpkin prawns, croquetas with a twist to pasta-less aubergine lasagne. If you still have room, please have a passionfruit cheesecake. You will be glad you did.
